The Living supporting  Shelters -Apartments was one of the objectives of the Association of Parents of Disabled Kilkis . Realizing the dream , the Association founded and operated  two  apartments in the city of Kilkis , since November 2012  , where  four mentally retarded people are living. The first apartment is the permanent  home for two boys at 8  Lycurgu Street while the second is the permanent  home for  two girls at 3 Socrates Street. The foundation and operation of the apartments were  funded by the European Social Fund , the European Regional Development Fund and National Resources .
